  • Take it back to whoever did the windshield. They didn't seal it right so they should fix it.

  • that little gap in the windshield trim isnt whats causing it to leak its whats under that that trim is trim and thats it nothing to do with the windshield sealing to the body of the truck take it to a glass shop pull that interior piece off before you do they can goop some urethane in there and itll be fine

    Cumminsproject01Cumminsproject016 oy oldin

    Mitch SMitch S6 oy oldin
  • Do you really need all that bar on your hitch? Yeah, definitely leave accessories separate from ignition switch No, you should take window completely out and clean it good and redo it right I need that (3) horn set-up!!! Get (3) sets!!! (Technically it is, but technically it is not)😂

  • GET RYNOS ATTENTION!!!!!! Hey boss I do auto glass full time, you need to get the windshield taken out... there is a leak in the glue for the windshield from a seam where the glue goes together. Nothing bad it’s a very simple fix!! You can reuse the same windshield!!

    B RiceB Rice6 oy oldin
  • Dude just seal that tiny spot takes a min and it's done.

    WeN33dJusticeWeN33dJustice6 oy oldin
  • get you a little water contact flex seal, good as new :)

    Jay NottinghamJay Nottingham6 oy oldin
  • Mount some slotted c channel on the wall and tie it in to the crane right beneath the swivel.

    Alex ZAlex Z6 oy oldin
  • I would try to seal it from the outside if you can before trying to seal it from the inside. Really If you can get it sealed from the outside I wouldn’t even worry about getting it completely redone. But if you have to seal it from the inside for now then I would definitely get it redone sooner then later because there will be a pocket where water will sit between your windshield and your cab that could cause rust over time

    Keith’s GarageKeith’s Garage6 oy oldin
  • Whoever installed the windshield didn't put the urethane on properly. I doubt it's that trim gap. I've seen brand new windshields leak because of the urethane on vehicles without that.

  • My 97 obs did this ass well. I have windshield coverage on mine. I ended up getting a crack in it shortly after. So satellite replaces with new windshield cleans all the debris trapped in there out. Then re siliconed it. Now you don't have to worry about your floors rotting out .

    mike moralesmike morales6 oy oldin
  • Fix it right. Don't use silicon. I'm a certified auto body technician. You will create more work later down the road California auto works would say the same. Also If that causes rust and paint problems the body shop might not stand behind his work or product because you took it upon yourself to fix it

  • Repainted my ‘97 2 door Tahoe Z51 last year and had both rear side glass removed. Both leaked. Had the glass guy R&R and reseal and one still had a small leak. Ended up using a small bead of 3/8ths butyl rope caulking inside just along the area where the urethane was leaking. This is what Ford uses from the factory on many of their cars. So far so good👍
